Students will experience the Pre-writing Thinking Challenge, learn how to prepare outlines and create the major points, come to understand how to think through the critical questions and finally how to begin the writing phase. This strategic curriculum will also address how to "review" literary and dramatic works, evaluate compositions, understand the various literary terms, and how to develop a larger vocabulary.
A Suggest Weekly Implementation Schedule is supplied to assist weekly lesson planning and the Special Needs Strategies will assist parents with students who learn differently. This course is geared for middle school or early high school and is considered a one year/one credit course when successfully completed. For ages 13-19.
