Sister of the Quilt Series, Volumes 1-3
I have never before read such a beautiful story. I'm glad I waited to read them when all three the books were published, so I could read the story in one breath. It was an amazing story, so touching, so beautiful. When I wasn't reading, in my mind I was wondering what would happen next to Hannah.I'm looking forward to more such beautiful stories from Cindy Woodsmall. I have a new favorite author!

I found these treasures at my local library, and could hardly believe this is Cindy Woodsmall's first attempt at writing. I was drawn into the story immediately, and was left meditating on the serious situations addressed and the ways people reacted to each other and to situations. Even though I am not Amish I could identify with both the "saints" and "sinners" profiled in this story.I look forward to Cindy Woodsmall's future works in much the same way I do for Karen Kingsbury's.

It's not often that books can bring me to tears. Reading this series left me longing to be a part of Hannah's life. Books (like these) entrenched in faith and perseverance lift me up, creating in me a desire to be my best, as well as cultivate a humble and serving demeanor.

I enjoyed this series very much. Although there is a lot of Amish-themed literature out there these days, this series is still worth the reading.
