Well, then, this program is for you! Many homeschoolers have found Singapore Math to be difficult to understand and difficult to explain. MIF provides wonderful explanations, visually stimulating texts, and wonderful opporunities to practice and "think outside of the box." My kindergartener loves math! Which makes this homeschool mom smile! The teacher's manual is pricey. It would be helpful to those that struggle in explaining math, but it is not necessary. Save your money and get some great hands-on math manipulatives to use with the program.
