Discovering the core of who you are
August 14, 2012
In my estimation, "Simplicity" is the fourth book in the Soul Care series by Caliguire. It returns to the primary topic of self-examination, but it takes the reader to a different level from that of "Soul Searching." Here, I believe, the reader will benefit from having a spiritual friend or two while working through the issues of duplicitous lives, especially when feedback, encouragement, or accountability are needed to implement necessary changes. Indeed, the book is about working through changes that allow us to focus on the core of who we really are, and then living out of that core. It is more easily said than done, as Caliguire attests in her very personal, vulnerable, and humorous way. This book, similar to the other three in the series, includes questions for personal study and for group discussion.
