ChristianBook eBooks on the Sony Reader
To read a Christianbook.com licensed eBook on your Sony device, you will need to use Adobe Digital Editions.
Without using ADE, the Sony Reader will attempt to open eBooks with its own software, the Reader Library, and you may receive an error message.
To bypass the Sony Reader Library, return to the eBook portion of 'My Account' on our site, and click to download the eBook again.
When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.
Your eBook will open and display in ADE.
Plug in your Sony Reader, which will now display its model number and not just as Sony Reader.
Now just click, drag and drop your eBook onto the Sony Reader icon.
You can now eject your Sony Reader, open up the Books library and your eBook is ready to read.

Art Rainer is a banking professional and freelance writer. He earned his MBA from the University of Kentucky and now lives with his wife, Sarah, near Miami, Florida.
Breaking life down into four key sections (Time, Relationships, Money, God), the authors show how four key goals (Clarity, Movement, Alignment, Focus) can begin to foster a life that is more spiritual and less busy, a life rich in experiences with family and friends rather than double-booked to-do lists and late nights at the office. The book even lays out an easy-to-follow action plan that will move readers assuredly toward the simple life in just thirty days.
Just a brief glance at our society reveals the complexity in which we immerse ourselves. Lifestyles are hectic, stressful, and, sometimes, out of control. All facets of our being, from health to marriage to intimacy with God, are suffering. We want to present society an alternative, more simple way of facing each day. Something to mend the fragmented threads that make up the fabric of our daily lives.

IreneUnited States4 Stars Out Of 5Balanced LifeMarch 1, 2011IreneUnited StatesQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4So how busy is your life! Reading this book will help you get it all back into the right perspective.
The authors divide our life into four categories, time, relationships, money and God. They then go on to explain how in each area we can prioritize better. They show how God, in the Bible, has given us guidelines to make our life about Him and not all the other clutter we seem to gravitate towards.
There are helpful questions at the end of chapters to help you apply the principles they are writing about. The best lesson to take from this well written book is, everything in moderation will make for a balanced life.

Christy Lockstein5 Stars Out Of 5November 16, 2009Christy LocksteinSimple Life by Thom and Art Rainer is the book you've been looking for to help you get your life under control. The authors are father and son who previously wrote the popular Simple Church. They focus on four major areas where readers need to simplify their lives: time, relationships, money, and God. Then they break down those goals into four areas: clarity, movement, alignment, and focus. Through several surveys and studies they determined where people are feeling the crunch of being stretched too thin without having quality relationships in their lives. Using these studies and Christian principles, they offer the opportunity for hope for real change. There are a lot of books that promise to fulfill just one of the goals of Simple Life; the Rainers do it better and all in one book.
