Author BioBrad Smith serves as president of Bakke Graduate University (BGU) of Ministry. Prior to joining BGU, he served as president/CEO for the Leadership Network, a private operation foundation focused on church health and innovation. He is the founding pastor of Kessler Community Church, a church located in a racially diverse, urban neighborhood in Dallas. He was part of the founding team of the Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary and was responsible for developing spiritual formation and leadership programs. Working with the Center for Non-Profit Management, he has consulted with nonprofit agencies in Dallas. His experience also includes consultations with Fortune 100 companies and national Christian ministries in the area of team building and leadership development. He and his wife, Debby, have three children.
