I'm very disappointed as it started off so well.

SkyPilotCanadaAge: 55-65Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Good Writing Sabotaged by Bad EditingMay 27, 2011SkyPilotCanadaAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 3Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4This story is gripping and will hold your attention until the end. If you are a fan of Mr. Wise, you will remain one after reading this story. If this is your first meeting with the author, you will be tempted to read more of his works.
Good as it is though, this book suffers from a major failing on the part of the editorial staff responsible for bringing it to its published form.
The repetition of the same word in successive sentences is frowned upon in fiction publishing circles and is something that good editing is intended to remedy. Ex.: "Bandages covered most of his face with red seepage along the side of his chin. She only saw one eye still closed, the other was covered by bandages. A thick bandage covered the top of his chest with with plastic tubes running down the side to bags on the rail. A bag of glucose hung from a rack..." (Note that the words "bandage" and "bag" are repeated in close proximity in a span of three sentences.)
There also seems to be a misunderstanding of the use of the words 'past' and 'passed' throughout and other places, in the Ebook, at least, where words are missing.
