College roommates Chris and Stephen couldn't be more different. The two form an unlikely loyalty to each other, but their paths diverge after Chris's parents are killed by anti-Christian forces in Brazil. Their murders mark the beginning of a chain of events leading to a mysterious remote compound where secret plans are unfolding. Along the way, Chris drops out of sight for several years, and Stephen converts to Christianity. Only after Stephen becomes a respected researcher in the field of genetics does Chris return, asking Stephen to fulfill a mission that promises to change the world.

The truth becomes harder and harder to discern in this complex tale of friendship and intrigue, where good and evil wear many faces. Discovering which is which requires a power that comes only from closely following Christ, day by day but is it too late for Chris and Stephen?
