Product Description

Harold Camping, co-founder and president of the Family Radio Network, has announced a "prophetic novelty": he believes that the church age has come to an end. Camping claims that God is no longer blessing local churches, and that all Christians should leave their congregations.

What exactly is Camping saying? How should Christians respond? Here J. Ligon Duncan and Mark R. Talbot refute the claims of this radio preacher and clearly discuss what the Bible says about the church.

Author Bio

Ligon Duncan is the Senior Minister of the historic First Presbyterian Church (1837), Jackson, Mississippi, President of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, Chairman of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, Convener of the Twin Lakes Fellowship, and Adjunct Professor at Reformed Theological Seminary. He served as the 32nd Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in America (20042005), the youngest minister ever to fill that post.

Editorial Reviews

In our day Harold Camping has arisen amidst the flock, speaking perverse things, drawing away the sheep after himself. It is the sad but necessary duty of the shepherds of the flock to protect Christ’s sheep from those who would lead them astray.
Camping’s teaching on the end of the church age is a poisonous heresy. This book is the perfect antidote . . . ideal to read and to share with others who have been influenced by Mr. Camping.
