As a pastor it is sad for me to see so many of our young people grow up and either leave the church or be lukewarm toward it. Lately God has been leading me to put a high priority on children's ministries in our church. When I told a fellow pastor about this he suggested this book. Let me you that this book brings the goods! All of the things that I would love to see in our children's ministries Brian is already doing, and has been doing, at his church. This is no theoretical model. It is a Biblical, working model! Brian does a great job of showing that the Biblical method is for parents to be the spiritual leaders in their home with the church assisting them in that role. Obviously this is different than the view that most parents & churches have on the issue. The book is full of practical advice on how to start raising the next generation for Christ. I was so excited after reading it that I purchased several additional copies for our children's ministry leaders. f you or your church have ever struggled with how to set up a dynamic children's ministry look no further. This book is the #1 resource I would recommend to assist parents in helping raise up a generation of committed believers for Christ who are authentic and who can help transform their culture for Him!
