Jesus, My Shepherd--Explorer's Bible Study for Young Readers, Beginnings II
Great content and convenient
This Bible curriculum has great content. It teaches New Testament stories and has aspects to reach the child's heart as well. Easy Q&A avoids the clash of extensive writing in a subject that is all about reaching the child for Christ.

Great Bible lessons
I really like this book. We use it everyday for our homeschool Bible lesson. My son is 7 and he is able to read the lesson to me and answer the questions by himself. He really likes it too. The only thing I don't like about it is that the Bible verses are not King James, but I knew that when I bought it. I would just like it better if they were.

My kids and I love this short Bible study. It is great for home schooling, doesn't give to much information and it makes them think about the answers for the questions that go with the short story. It's great!

So far so good. The teaching material is very good. The pages are a bit boring if your thinking of letting the child work directly from the curriculum. I've had to highlight some of it with bright colors and do some power points on the computer to make it a bit more attractive for a 5 year old. It's also less costly than some other curriculum's that I've seen. I also understand that it's only intended to be used as a lesson plan and that it's up to the teacher to present it in an interesting way. Based on the above, I would say that it's great value for money.
