A gorgeous bag but not at all roomy.

I love the graphics, very crisp high-quality picture on the front. And the bag is made of quite sturdy materials. It *is* a beautiful bag.

    But...

The bag itself is too narrow. I will explain what I mean:

The bag is divided into two compartments, one has a full zip that zips shut, the other is open and doesn't shut. This in and of itself is not a problem BUT the bag is so narrow that it won't stand up. Even leaning it against a chair leg or something doesn't work much: it is "top heavy" so to speak, when you have anything tall inside like a bible and notebook. So the weight of the items inside cause the bag to become unbalanced and it slides to the floor. And things from the open compartment then fall out. Which is frustrating. My companions will have equally wide-and-tall bags that stand fine or lean against a chair leg fine but mine always ends up on its side.

And even though the bag is a really good size, the narrowness means there is not much room for your stuff. It's deceptive. You think it's going to be a nice big roomy tote but instead it's a narrow thing that you can only squeeze a few things in, and that makes it topple over. (And if you put "too many" things in the zipper compartment you struggle to fit much in the open compartment. It's a struggle for such a supposedly large roomy bag.)

What this bag really needs is a much wider base that is in proportion to the length and height. This way it would not topple over when items are inside.

With that kind of improvement this would end up being a fantastic 5 star bag!
