Author Bio

Inspired by her own life story, Debbie Vanderslice seeks to minister to and encourage women who deal with feelings of shame. A native of Arkansas, with a passion for writing, she holds a bachelor of arts degree in history. She is a freelance writer whose published works have been featured in Christian literature and with greeting card companies across the nation. When Debbie is not busy writing, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family. She currently resides in Oden, Arkansas.

Awesome Understanding I am the leader of a small group that is doing this study. We have found it to be fun and enjoyable. We are also able to relate it to what we are going through or have been through in life. The people in the group are of different ages and have gone through different things in life, but are able to relate very well to each other. I would recommend this book for anyone who thinks that they are the only ones who have been through what they are going through. April 10, 2013
