A Rollicking Good Read Just supposing there were a convergence of a doomsday event from outer space and a lower order angel's inhabiting the body of an elderly lady who just happened to die on the altar of the church . Throw in a dysfunctional childless marriage, a divorced astronomer, and a snobby country club. Mix in a touch of larceny, an impoverished parish, and a pinch of greed. Stir in an encounter with the Most High, and you have a thought provoking work of fiction. In the meantime, you've gained some insights into what the heavenly orders might be like. You've seen a realistic appraisal of human nature. And you've had a rollicking good read. March 17, 2012
