I had read the book and decided to get on cd. It was even better, through the tears and just wanting to renew my own relationship with the Lord. It touched my heart. I am going to order some more to just pass out for family and friends to read and or listen to.

This book MUDDIES TRUTH...the Trinity, the role and person and work of Christ, and the way of salvation. Good fiction can convey truth even though it’s not factual, bad fiction conveys lies even though not factual becomes truth and muddies the REAL TRUTH. 2 Timothy 4:2-4 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths."

Really lousy story and a lousy listen. I can see why Christian who know their Bibles are ticked at the deceit presented concerning the Trinity. Ouch!

Although I had read the Shack 2x already, my husband and I were riveted by the audio - it's so enthralling, thought provoking! We liked it so much, as soon as we completed the 7CDs, we immediately put on CD3 and listened to the end again! Awesome!
