The Truth always comes out...

Seeking His Love by Carrie Turansky
Cam McKenna is not the most cheerful man around. His wife and son were killed in a car accident four years ago and he carries the guilt of thinking he could have prevented it. He had no desire to ever love again_.he thought. Then Rachel Clark entered into their co-op looking to rent space in their building. No way did he want her in the building or in his thoughts, where she seemed to take residence.
Rachel left her past behind her in Seattle to start over. Taking the position as head of a Christian theater group for youths she needed to find a new home for them_.and she did. If only she can convince the man in charge to give her a chance. And as long as her secrets don't ever come to light to destroy her new life.
There were so many interesting side stories in this book. Learning to forgive others and yourself, the destruction that jealousy can cause, when people react rather than trying to find out the truth and let the mob mind set take hold. There is also the lesson that it's best to be honest right from the start because the truth always seems to find it's way to the surface. The next two books connected with this one are, A Man to Trust and Snowflake Sweethearts will be released December 2012.
I am primarily a historical romance reader, but it's contemporary authors like Carrie Turansky who go a long way in changing my mind. Talk about a love-at-first-read novel that has everything romance readers want—an engaging heroine with something to hide, a handsome hero hardened by his past, and a cast of characters so real they could be plucked from our own lives. In a refreshing story of faith, hope and unexpected love, Ms. Turansky captures readers with flesh-and-blood characters and a well-woven plot that both touch the heart and stir the soul, lingering there well beyond the last page.
Carrie Turansky's newest book, SEEKING HIS LOVE is another offering of beautiful writing and believable characters that touch the heart.
Rachel Clark is not looking for love; she's passionate about the theatre group for young people she oversees and feels certain that God is blessing the work. However, when she rents space for classes and an auditorium with a stage, not all of the other co-op residents are as enthusiastic.
One of those residents is widower Cam McKenna. He wants nothing to do with the kids "running around" or the attraction building between him and the beautiful Rachel.
What both of these people share are secrets from their past. Secrets that may jeopardize their future.
Turansky's impeccable writing will draw readers so deeply into the story that you wish the book would never end.
Character Building Love Story: Eager for a fresh start, Rachel Clark moves to Fairhaven to direct the Northcoast Christian Youth Theater. Delighted with her new job, and her handsome, widowed landlord, Cam McKenna, who also works as part of the Fairhaven Artists Co-op, Rachel commits to helping her new artistic community work through their financial crisis. But when her caring nature extends to helping Cam with his troubled teenage niece, a jealous co-worker rakes up the debris of Rachels past, hoping to ruin her reputation in Cam and the communitys eyes, and send her packing. Cams faith, shaky from his own crushing loss, is once again challenged, and Rachel must decide what is most important to her and how to face her accusers. Only the Lord can give either of them the courage and compassion they need to face their past AND their future.Carrie Turansky, twice finalist for the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) Book of the Year and Carol Award, has written a compelling story demonstrating our need to give and receive understanding and compassion, and the rewards that come from picking up the pieces of a broken life in the Lords strength. I loved the fresh setting and well developed charactersespecially loved the theatrical teens. The tension of a suspicious character as well as the growing love story kept me turning pages. I never suspected one of the plot twists, but was delighted with the way it deepened the story. Im glad I had a long plane flight to read this bookI did not want to put it down!
Carrie's book is thoroughly enjoyable! I was so engrossed in the lives of the characters that I did not want the book to end! It is a great model of how important it is to have God in your relationships and your life! I highly recommend it! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
