I can't thank Nabeel enough for writing his story. I was gripped by every chapter. I read it in 2 days. On the eBook screen 10, part 71 I just wept. I now have more of a compassionate and kinder picture of Muslims in the West that drives me to pray for them, to love them, to engage them, to not be afraid of them, to have relationship with them, and to share the Gospel with them at the right time. Thank you Nabeel! Look forward to more books written by you and hope to see you at a speakers conference when you are in Southern California next. God bless you and keep you always!
If you read one book on Islam read "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus". Nabeel Qureshi presents what Muslim's believe, and portrays the deep faith and devotion of peaceful Muslims. He depicts the beauty of Islam at its best, and how Islam's best falls short of meeting mankinds deepest needs. He demonstrates truths that Islam has in common with Christianity, and the deep divide between the faiths which cannot be bridged. He compares Islamic teachings on Taueed, Justice, and the Quran with Christian teachings on the Trinity, Redemption, and the Bible. He contrasts the prophet Muhammad with Jesus the Son of God. All of this and more is taught through the story of Nabeel's life and search for God. Everyone who wants to love, understand, and witness to Muslim's needs to read this book and especially the chapter "The Cost of Embracing the Cross". I read, I wept and then I prayed.
A most critical book for every Christian to read right now
April 15, 2015
This book was critical in explaining Islam to me and what they believe. Also, it is one of the best apologetic books, next to "The Case For Christ" for the average Christian. His writing made me sit up and wake up!! I caught myself wondering if I was ready to defend the Christian faith as David was. For our current times, it is a very important book!!
