    Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a full time police officer in SE Kansas. I am married and have children - 3 boys, 1 girl, and another boy due in November, 2011.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  I wanted to use my talent for writing in a way that would serve God and further His kingdom. I also have a strong desire to be used by God in His service, to further His kingdom, and be His hands and feet in whatever capacity He needs me.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I want people who perhaps would not normally read the Bible, to read the scriptures at the beginning of each segment and, as they read the stories - I want them to see how the Bible applies to everyone everyday.

    How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  This project opened the door for a new ministry: A vision to send 1 copy of this book to 100 different police departments in each of the 50 states. I would like to share God's word with law enforcement and their families in a way that anyone can understand.     Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I have been thoroughly impacted by the book, "Through Gates of Splendour" by Elizabeth Elliot. The book inspires me to remember daily that only the things we do for the Lord will last beyond this life.

    Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  This book is not just for law enforcement or for Christians, and can most definitely be used as a witnessing tool. I have given away many copies of this book and encourage readers to pass it on to someone else when they are finished reading it. I am also very grateful to everyone who has taken the time to read the book.
