In Bad Connection, an acquaintance and school-mate of Sam's goes missing. Kayla Henderson likes to party, break the rules and live on the edge, so most people aren't very surprised when she doesn't show up for school. Like everyone else, Sam assumes Kayla has simply run away. That changes when she has a vision of Kayla tied up, with duct tape over her mouth. Freaked by the image, Sam wonders what really happened to Kayla, and whether the vision was real or just a silly dream. With her deceased father's former police partner, Sam embarks on a mission to find her friend before it's too late.

Story Behind the Book
"The secular world has become very interested in supernatural gifts. Take, for example, shows like Joan of Arcadia , The Medium, Monk, and Dead Zone . Yet its God who gives every good and perfect gift. My guess is that we humans barely tap into the vast variety of gifts that He has to offer. Not only that, but our fast-paced, high-tech culture rarely relies on those good old-fashioned character traits like insight, intuition, wisdom, and foresight. My hope is that this series will provide a fun way for teens to explore deeper levels of spirituality and creativity while inspiring them to a greater love for God."

At first when i saw this i thought it would be dumb and stupid. Then i sat down and read it. I couldn't put down. It was like i was in the book. I was Samantha, i could feel her emotion, her thought, see her visions. This is one of my favorite books by Melody Carlson. This actually inspired me write a book of my own. It hasn't been written yet ,but i working on it. I'm so glad i read this book because if I hadn't i would be writing a story of my own. God bless Melody Carlson and may she be filled with wisdom and story ideas forever.
