Not Recommended There was no gospel. It was not Christ-centered. The quality of the filming process was good. The acting was good, but I cannot get over how the gospel was missing in the movie. January 22, 2013

Sometimes I am disappointed in the Dove Award Sadly disappointed in this film, I thought it would be better. Besides a lot of drinking scenes by the characters the only time God was represented was in the beginning with a child's prayer to him. I didn't find this film Christ centered and wonder how it received 4 Dove awards. Mean spirited in places as well. Will not be putting it in our church library as I can't recommend it. SUCH a letdown! I have seen a few pureflix films before.. and I was really excited to see this one. It was a TOTAL letdown... This could have been done so well.. but they made way too many inappropriate compromises. The women dressed immodestly CONSISTENTLY through out the film... and the main female is shown in a bikini multiple times in the movie. What kind of standard are you setting for people putting this into a movie and saying that it's 'Christian'. Women showing off their busts and swimming in underwear are NOT something that should have any place in a film produced by a 'Christian' company... I'm super disappointed. July 21, 2012
