Secret at Arrow Lake
Movie was not a movie I thought would have a dove
I was very disappointed in this movie. The amount of
time spent drinking and in bar scenes was not what I
would have expected. Maybe some Christians approve
of this life style, but not the one our family or our church
would have as our standards. The acting was good and the
message had such potential to have taken this in a whole
other direction and really could have had a Christ centered
movie. I was very sad to have purchased this movie. There
were no reviews at the time of my purchase. But having seen
What If and I thought it would have similar message.
Never again will I try before hearing some other reviews.

There was no gospel. It was not Christ-centered. The quality of the filming process was good. The acting was good, but I cannot get over how the gospel was missing in the movie.

Sometimes I am disappointed in the Dove Award
Sadly disappointed in this film, I thought it would be better. Besides a lot of drinking scenes by the characters the only time God was represented was in the beginning with a child's prayer to him. I didn't find this film Christ centered and wonder how it received 4 Dove awards. Mean spirited in places as well. Will not be putting it in our church library as I can't recommend it.

SUCH a letdown!
I have seen a few pureflix films before.. and I was really excited to see this one.
It was a TOTAL letdown...
This could have been done so well.. but they made way too many inappropriate compromises.
The women dressed immodestly CONSISTENTLY through out the film... and the main female is shown in a bikini multiple times in the movie.
What kind of standard are you setting for people putting this into a movie and saying that it's 'Christian'.
Women showing off their busts and swimming in underwear are NOT something that should have any place in a film produced by a 'Christian' company...
I'm super disappointed.
