Michael and ChristineCorning, NYAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5The best investment you'll ever makeNovember 30, 2011Michael and ChristineCorning, NYAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My fiance and I had both been through painful divorces and were determined not to make the same mistakes again. This book and the workbooks that go along with it are the best investment of time and effort we have made in our life together. After completing the books, we were confident and ready for marriage. We can't say enough good things about these books, and have bought them for others about to be married (the Parrotts have another book "Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts" for those marrying for the first time) The exercises and questionnaires included are challenging and engaging, and you should take the time to do all of them. We were almost sad when we completed the books because it was such a great time of sharing and understanding each other -- we didn't want that closeness to end! We have continued to implement the principles from this book into our marriage and have enjoyed two wonderful years together. Please, please, please -- do yourself a favor and go through this book before getting married a second time. It will make all the difference in the world!

Carol Willeford5 Stars Out Of 5June 4, 2010Carol WillefordThis is an excellent book by Les and Leslie Parrott. I am a widow, and now I will be marrying someone in the near future. This book has helped me think of different ways that we can be stronger in our second marriage. Also we both have young children, so we will have to learn how to blend our family as one unit. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, and I will be married to this wonderful man for the rest of my life. With God's guidance, I have faith that it will be a marriage that will last. Through thick or thin, good or bad, through sickness and in health. Our love for each other will conquer anything.
