I did this bible study a few years ago and it is well worth the work. I ordered it for a friend who would benefit from the freedom and truth offered in this study. It is great that the workbook is inside the book. There are also videos that go along with the study that you can see by going to RobertMcgees website. It's an awesome study!

I am still in the process of reading this book but so far it has proved very insightful and I am sure it will be used for reference in the future.

There are three things that every Christian desires and they are things that only God can provide: love, security and significance. Robert McGee addresses the 'significance' issue thoroughly in this "must-read" book. In the process of understanding our God-given worth, we will also find the love and security we so desperately need.

I love this book I am teaching out of it to college age students, the information it gives about self worth in so wonderful, just the fact that it tells us who we are in Christ if we will follow His teachings.

As a licensed therapist and as one who disciples younger women, I have been using this book for over ten years. I am convinced that receiving God's love and acceptance over the lies that ensnare us is the door to the freedom and abundant life Jesus talked about.

The first time I did Search for Significance was probably 8 or 9 years ago. It was such a powerful tool. I loved the other one so much this one seems like so much is left out. I miss the one with 12 chapters. I wish I could get hold of the older edition.

A Christian therapist handed both me and my husband a copy of "The Search for Significance" at our first session in marriage counseling. I read the book twice before understanding the choice before me. Would I risk believing God's truth no matter how I "felt" or what I "thought" or would I continue to live in the emotional bondage I had known for years? I determined to follow God's truth no matter what the consequences, and I now live the abundant life. I have led the study several times and personally seen people transformed from the inside out. Currently, I am studying to become a licensed professional counselor so that I can share this book with others in need.

As a pastor and counselor I'm continually involved with people who, because of their past, doubt their value to God and underestimate their future "in Christ". This book presents the Biblical Truths that can "set the captive free".
