Both of these stories had been previously published as separate books. They are geared towards tween in the hopes that it will help them to develop the ability to make the right decisions in tough situations.

This series is definitely a must read for young girls.

Both stories carry strong messages about faith and not caving to peer pressure. The stories carry strong emotional impact with the reader. The problems encountered in these stories include issues like teen drinking, dating, and even bullying. I think there are great lessons to be learned and highly recommend the stories to young girls

Thought Provoking This is two books in one. The stories are well written. The situations the girls find themselves in are very common. What I really like is that there isn't a 'perfect' answer. Each choice has consequences that the girl has to deal with. I really appreciate that the author did not stick with pat answers. These are a great read for middle school girls in public school. Great help for tweens, teens I love these books and know my granddaughters will also. This is an excellent book that uses relative situations with girls "tween" ages to show decisions they may be confronted with peers and consequences of wrong decisions and rewards of better decisions. I foresee many young girls reading this and having opportunity to choose ahead of time what decision they would make if found in a similar situation. It could very well save many young girls from future heartache as well as show them, if they have already made some bad decisions, God can show them how to turn things around if they will turn to Him and receive His help. I think women; especially Mother's will also like these. August 23, 2011

My almost 11 y.o. LOVES the Scenario books. Yes, I capitalized on purpose because that almost captures her enthusiasm for this series. Why does she love these books? Because she loves being the character and choosing the outcome. She'll select the wrong choice, and then go back and make the right choice. It leads to great conversations as we talk about what makes one choice better than the other. In Dare to be Different, the first story Truth or Dare starts with friends playing a harmless game at regular sleep-overs. Then their games of Truth or Dare take a risky turn. One of them is dared to drink a can of beer. In All that Glitters, one of the girls has to decide whether to give in to her boyfriend and lie to her parents or tell the truth. The girls are learning how to address peer pressure to do things they know are wrong or take the hard stand of doing what is right. July 8, 2011

Love the 2-in-1 idea. These books are ingenious in the way they ask the reader to make the tough moral decisions. It gives the reader the opportunity to feel the weight of the consequences. I've read all of the books in the Scenarios Series and I believe that each book dealt with a necessary issue facing the tween/teens of today.......and tomorrow. I've purchased many of the books and donated some to my church youth library and many I gave as gifts to the daughters of many friends. All have then asked repeatly when the next book/s would be released. To anyone out there, these books are great gifts for young girls that you love and want to see make the right decisions. They prepare them before they're faced with the issues. I love that they re-released the books as 2-in-1s. It gives the young girls more to think about and hopefully instills a desire for the next two 2-in-1 books in the series. April 4, 2011
