It has been helpful and insightful. It has helped my daughter, and when we are both stuck on a homework problem, we are able to pull it up on the DVD and see how to work out the problem step by step. I highly recommend purchasing these DVD's with the curriculum.
Mom of Toffeerural NJAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5This is the one you want!November 27, 2011Mom of Toffeerural NJAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 3Meets Expectations: 5This is the product that has each practice problem explained. I mistakenly bought the DIVE cd's thinking they had this feature, but they only have the lessons. I am not able to help my students figure out why they got a problem wrong, so this set of CD's has saved my life! Wish I'd discovered it 3 years ago.
NOTE: the test PROBLEMS are not on this CD set, nor are they in the normal solutions manual. You need the test booklet specifically written for homeschoolers. The test problems are EXPLAINED on this CD set.

She got the idea but knew their were some steps she was missing. The DVD has helped fill in those gaps. They DVD does not go over board in explaining so you have to really pay attention but she is flying through this book now so it was worth it.
Not sure if I am overly crazy about the saxon series...but since my daughter is such a math whiz she can pick it up quite easily, but for someone who finds math difficult I would not recommend saxon.

Lisa Moore4 Stars Out Of 5Very helpfulFebruary 9, 2011Lisa MooreQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4This product is very helpful for my son when he doesn't understand a specific problem. We both like that we can look at the individual problem, rather just the concept of the practice problem like in the DIVE cds.
