I have been through so many different math books during the 6 years that I have been home educating and Saxon is by far the best! It's very thorough and keeps a good amount of review going while learning new lessons as well. Before I ordered Saxon from the traditional Catholic site I usually go to I thought I'd shop around. I found this site and the price was at least $20 cheaper than the other! The books came in perfect condition and arrived within just a few days! I would recommend this curriculum to everybody who wants their child to succeed in math.

With the DIVE CD lessons, Saxon Math has proven most effective in my house. I have tried several other curricula but have come back to Saxon, for its methodical, " walk up the ramp" approach to learning Math. Everyone knows that Math has foundational components that need to be secure before layering on the next key concept. Saxon Math provides a built in structure for learning and maintaining each new concept. The DIVE CD adds great instruction and a logical approach to each new concept. Each DIVE CD lesson provides good instruction, practice with the instructor or the ability to do a practice problem on your own and then check the work, and all in a concise timeframe.

I'm working with a 17 year old young man who used Saxon to jump from third-grade proficiency in math to eighth grade proficiency in math in less than six months. A good curriculum.

This was our first year to homeschool was using other material for daughter got saxon math for son and after a month switched my daughter - I love how saxon math reviews and also list what chapter the question came from so if they miss one you can go back to the right chapter and review! Love the CD the guy does an awesome job of explaining! I will continue using Saxon Math!!
