I like the solutions manual because it has triginometry in it too. The only thing I don't like is the kind of pages that are in it. Its not white. Its like recycled paper. It has a brown tint to it. It rips easily. Other than that its great.

Having a list of answers might be helpful, but knowing where the answers came from is essential. If my son gets a wrong answer and I don't have the correct solution to the problem, how can I help him figure out what he did wrong? Today was our first day of school and I'm already dreading the rest of the year with this book.

Likely to be very useful. In fact, unless you are a math whiz, it is probably essential for most homeschooling parents using Saxon's Higher Mathematics with their child. I suggest you take advantage of the lower rate for a package and order them together.I also looked at the DIVE program which gives solutions but I felt it would be much more cumbersome to use -- and it was very "chatty."
