He helps bring back the christian to an understanding of his/her salvation when it is so easy to get misguided in today's world. Keep your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus - and always ask for forgiveness. Remember, he has already given his blood for you and all you have to do is accept it. Never before have I found in one book so much about so critical an issue. After reading it myself, I am now using it in our adult Sunday School class. I was impressed with the icebreakers, prayers and discussions contained in the back of the book. MacArthur points out eleven biblical tests for us to keep in mind as well as emphasizing God's promise. He also discusses some of the clichés or sayings such as 'Once saved always saved' and 'let go and let God'.
