And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.--- Mark 16:17-18 The writers of the New Testament tell us that Jesus healed all --- not only a few --- of their sick people. 'All' means that each one of these people was healed of all their infirmities. For example, Matthew 12:15 says: 'Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed him, and he healed all their sick...' Also, Luke describes how '...the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.' (Luke 4:40) Jesus gave this authority to conquer sin and sickness to his followers, and he purposefully instructed them to do powerful works in his name. He gave them the power to do miracles and to heal the sick while they traveled and preached the Good News. Just as Jesus gave this authority to his disciples, he also gives it to you today. You must be willing to exercise your faith in God and in his Word to those who are suffering. This is a manual about how to put into practice--the works of God, and while you are doing so you can also--be healed and fully recovered.
