I was amazed that Gary Thomas had such insight about how a woman thinks and feels! He has similar insight into men. The information he shares is truly profound. I highly recommend this book to every wife.

It is well written, engaging and a relatively quick read. His points are well made. He is speaking to women and he qualifies this often that he has a separate book for men. I believe his points are Biblical and sound. His advice, if put into practice, would probably get the results a frustrated wife is looking for. Some of his advice is tough. I truly believe there is only ONE person you can change and that is yourself. I would highly recommend this to all, even MEN.

julesCampbell, OHAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5This book is life changing!!!February 10, 2012julesCampbell, OHAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I think this is a must have for every husband and wife. Our class started with Sacred Marriage which has changed us in so many possitve ways!! Sacred Influence is no different!! It is so "deep", but very understandable. The author doesn't sugar coat anything or give us excuses because of our sex. It is SO important that we put God first in everything!! God has to be the center of our hearts (as he says in chapter one) for any of our relationships to grow and be great. Gary Thomas has hit the bullseye with these 2 books!! Our last class had 10 people in it, and our new one has 14!! (which is all wives right now). But we are planning to have one for couples!! Definately can read singly, but how much more helpful it will be if both husband and wife read it!!!!
I cannot say yes enough times to someone wandering if they should get this or not!!!!!!!!
