Author/Artist Review

Author: rose anne daniels
Located in: hope mills, nc
Submitted: July 17, 2009

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a registered nurse working on a rehabilitation unit for brain injuries. I am also an involved mother and grandmother. I am active in my church and community.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I want to shed light on mental illness. Specifically, I want to give hope to those who suffer and those who love them.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope they come away with the realization that God can shed light into the darkest corner and He can grant new life, full life, to those who may be considered hopeless.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I have found this work fulfilling beyond my wildest hopes.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Karl Menninger and other devoted psychiatrists, many nurses with enduring patience, teachers, and my children and grandchildren have been my inspiration. My favorite authors have been Victor Frankl, Robert Schuller, T. D. Jakes and Charles Spurgeon

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I take medication faithfully. Faith and medicine have worked together in my healing.
