This is an excellent study. My daughter and I are studying it together and it is very well written and the questions are thought provoking for good conversation. It is nice to have the majority of Scripture there in the book. March 2, 2012

Great Bible Study Guides My small group has been using the John MacArthur Bible Study Guides for about a year now in our own study, and we couldn't be more pleased. The guide itself contains the passage, commentary, discussion questions, and other related passages, pretty much all you need for a good Bible study. February 9, 2012

Excellent for small group I have completed several MacArthur studies on my own. I mentioned to my women's small group the benefits of these study guides and presented Romans as our next one. The women jumped at the chance to do it. We all really like how Mr MacArthur personalizes the study by asking questions about situations that could happen in your everyday life. The historical context and how he explains certain key phrases are very helpful. I also am benefitting from how he references Old and New Testament to back up the themes in all the studies. Scripture proves Scripture. His studies are excellent. January 20, 2012

This study guide provides meat for thought. As a small group leader I have found the John MacArthur guides to be very benificial in engaging members to think deeply about the content of Scripture. The format is great, I really like the way the NKJV passages are included within the chapter of study. This allows for ease of study anywhere and is a teriffic opportunity to compare other versions with the NKJV. November 18, 2011
