This is a great read and study tool. It faithfully sticks to the text instead of positing false assumptions and other opinions that proof texting/eisegesis does. It is recommended by this reviewer that anyone honestly wanting to understand hard portions of Scripture, such as Romans 5, should utilize in their own lives.

An awesome devotional commentary. Old is not always worse. The book is worth getting just for his exposition of Rom 5.. Granted, the Sanders "revolution hadnt' occurred, but this book shows a solid reformed view of Romans and is worth the money before reading more trendy modern expositions
