these books are VERY well written, but there are a lot of inappropriate happenings mentioned. if you do not mind a couple of inappropriate things when you are reading, then i would definitely say, "read this book ASAP!"

WONDERFUL! I give them 10 stars. Anyone who doesn't like them is very unrealistic about early history. This tells it as it was. I adored each one. I hope she writes a lot more. They are my favorites.

This is a breath stealing fiction series. This holds more true to the way things really were back then. Everything else seems to candy coat the way they used to live. Superb read, once you start you won't want to stop, even at 3 o'clock in the morning.

This is a wonderful series!! It allows you to enter into the lives of these two families and then, those of other families as they join in settling this land. The two subsequent series allow you to follow the second generation of these settlers. I am now waiting for the next book in the "Daughters of Blessing" series; and I see the anticipated publication date is not until September of 2009! Write faster, Ms. Snelling!!
