Book 1 corresponds with grade 4, and introduces what analogies are, how they're read, and why they're useful. Basic word functions and names are covered before moving onto the various types of analogies. Descriptive analogies, comparative analogies, categorical analogies, serial and causal analogies are all covered. Students will complete analogies, identify relationships and create their own. 51 pages, softcover. Grade 4.
