I LOVE contemporary Christian fiction. This book was SUCH a disappointment!! I love to jump into a story and enjoy the plot, but this book is so SLOW and doesn't make much sense....very unrealistic. I can usually finish a book in a fair amount of time, but this book took MONTHS to get just to the middle. I finally just gave up on it and gave it to charity.

I found this to be an extremely *slow* book. Usually I have a new book read within a day. After reading 3/4 of this book, I still haven't finished it, simply because I find it hard to get interested. Kind of disappointing, but it's bound to happen once in a while.

I have just finished reading "Return to Appleton"; and I think it is a good story. It is nice how the author had the character, Gloria, always check with her heavenly father when she was shaken or she cared for someone. It will help young Christians, too, to get an idea of how to testify to others.

This was a good Christian mystery story! She absolutely believes in Jesus, and His leadership. I recommend it, good reading!!

Good Book! Just enough romance and suspense to make it a great read. Seemed like the "wrap-up" was a bit too quick. It took 2 books to get the whole story...The first book was missing several pages, and CBD was gracious enough to send me another, which had OTHER pages missing. Between the two, I got the whole story. (thank you CBD!) (Boo to Moody Press!)
