Publisher's Description

The annual Demon’s Bluff Spirit Fest is coming to town--all hell (and heaven) is about to break loose.

This sleepy desert town is so remote that no one is hassled for believing in God. Not even in 2022, when faith can get a guy arrested--or worse. So it’s a perfect hideout for a young Christian with a price on his head.

Except that a hundred years ago, good and evil had a showdown in Demon’s Bluff--and it’s about to happen again.

Already, dark clouds are gathering in the desert. And a whole town is about to learn what happens when God’s people choose to stand and trust instead of run and hide.

Tell us a little about yourself.  Throughout the years I've written everything from speeches to catalog copy. Writing a novel like Demon's Bluff with Jerry B. Jenkins is a dream- come-true experience.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I believe teens should be given the opportunity to figure things out and solve problems for themselves. And that they should be given greater responsibility as they're able to shoulder it. Demon's Bluff tells the story of a young guy, Patch Johnson, who discovers that prayer must come before action. A vital lesson for all of us to learn.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope that Demon's Bluff will help teens grasp the amazing power of prayer as well as the need to stay connected to the Savior. I want them to see that there's more to the world than the material influences pounding at them from every side. And that their spiritual upkeep matters most.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  My joy is creating books that my own children want to read. Scripture inspires me and gives me ideas for twists and turns that you'll find within the pages of Demon's Bluff (and Book 1 in the Renegade Spirit Trilogy, The Tattooed Rats).

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Demon's Bluff is Book 2 in the Renegade Spirit Trilogy from Thomas Nelson. The first book, The Tattooed Rats, tells how Patch deals with being the only Christian in a high school where faith is outlawed and violators are punished.
