Grant Borrows has been Shifted- in the silence between heartbeats, his whole life fundamentally altered. There's another man in the world wearing his face and living his life. What's more, the man staring back from his mirror is a stranger.
But the changes don't stop at skin-level. Inexplicably, he's able to affect objects around him by simply thinking about them. And as he soon learns, he's become the central figure in a vast web of intrigue that stretches from an underground global conspiracy to a prophecy dating back over seven thousand years. Enemies and allies find him at every turn, but one thing they learn all too soon is that you don't want to push Grant Borrows too far...
Can destiny be undone?
The players are ready.
The game is in motion.
And the pace is: Relentless.

Jason C JoynerIn The Gem StateAge: 35-44Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5A Rollicking Start To A Great SeriesMarch 14, 2013Jason C JoynerIn The Gem StateAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Grant Borrows gets the shock of his life when he gets off the city bus one day and sees himself walking down the street. He has changed into someone else.
And he has strange new abilities.
Little does he know that others have experienced the same phenomena, and that they are all part of a plan to change the world forever.
Robin Parrish is a writer for the 21st century. He writes with a visual style and wild ideas in the vein of Lost. His plot pushes relentlessly forward (sorry for the pun, but it's true) and keeps the reader guessing at every turn. When you think you have it figured out, he'll throw a curve ball.
This remains one of the most imaginative series I've read. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes a harrowing suspense or grew up on Marvel, DC Comics, and Star Wars.

gcconspiracyAge: 25-34Gender: male1 Stars Out Of 5Well written but far too violent.December 20, 2012gcconspiracyAge: 25-34Gender: maleQuality: 1Value: 5Meets Expectations: 1To be completely honest, I did not finish this book. I loved the writing style, and was quite interested to see where the story was going to lead, but the frequent (and surprisingly graphic) violence just left me feeling like I had been watching an R rated movie, not reading a "Christian" novel.
(this book was a free ebook, and as such I put value at 5/5, despite my feelings for the book)

HenPAge: 25-34Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Matter of OpinionsOctober 30, 2012HenPAge: 25-34Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5funny how there were negative reviews... books of fiction are that... fiction..
I actually have the original paperback of this book and i love it.. not quite finished with it but near end now and trying to find the next series to buy.. it's an older book since it's 2012
but I love how the book is made kind of like the movie Matrix where you CAN make certain christian comparisons with the characters in the novel (that is, if you attempt to..)
....Just want to say thanks to the author... if GOD called you to write, keep doing it for HIS glory.. negative comments/opinions always happen from everywhere. anyhow, thanks!
