Author Bio

As a born-again believer, Penny Zee has studied the Bible since 1978. During her career she spent 35 years as a legal assistant. In 1997, Penny started an employment agency specializing in legal personnel. After eight years, she retired.

Penny completed her first book, Through My Eyes: A Teenage Look at Life (Winston-Derek), in the mid-1980s but began working on The Amazing Word of the Lord in 2002. While at first her efforts were restricted to part-time work, once she retired she applied herself to its completion full time. She is humbled that God chose to involve her in this project.

    Tell us a little about yourself.  I was saved in 1978 and have been reading the Bible ever since. I was a legal assistant for 35 years and partly because of that, I have a deep investigative drive and need for precise truth.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  The Lord put it on my heart to write this book and I give Him all the glory.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  1. A greater understanding of the Bible. 2. That they will see that the Bible is for today. 3. That all of the answers to the questions and problems of life can be found in the Bible.

    How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  This project took 7 years and I used 8 versions of the Bible, including a literal translation of the original Greek and Hebrew scriptures. It has been a very educational and humbling experience and I'm so grateful that God decided to make me a part of this journey.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  First and always - Jesus.

    Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I would like them to know that this entertaining, educational and precise interpretation of God's Word will benefit seasoned, average or struggling readers of the Bible.
