Real TV, Take Two: Flip Flop 5 5 3 3

I really enjoyed this book and recommended it to my younger sisters (both teens). It's well-written and about topics relevant to the age group it's aimed at, and it was nice to read a story where the characters are not obsessed with boys, dating, and being the most popular girl in school. I'm planning to get more books from this author. February 4, 2010

This book was even better than Changing Faces! It was so interesting and the messages were so good, but it wasn't preachy. It is a very good teen book. There was no dating in it, which is a nice change. Most books and movies geared to girls my age only focus and dating and relationships....and after a while it starts to get old. August 19, 2009

I've read all of Wendy Lawton's books but find her newest, Flip Flop, to be the best by far. She takes a difficult issue, an alcoholic parent, and presents it in a way teens can understand and relate to. This book offers hope. This book offers laughs and tears. But most of all this book, in a voice teens can relate to, offers healing and help. August 31, 2004
