Tell us a little about yourself. Calling all Teens: Please visit me on my message board for the Hi God books (for boys and girls)> The web address is: www.twentythirdpublications.com/discus. Write about problems and questions you have, anything that's on your mind, and I'll be happy to answer.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to make grammar fun and easy to learn.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My book will help early elementary students understand grammar as it applies to writing. I believe that this book will help home-schooling parents teach grammar in an interesting painless way. I use humor and everyday situations to teach.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I love reading classics and contemporary books. I also love reading non-fiction and have written non-fiction books. I recently wrote Hi, God, It's Me: e-prayers for teenage boys and Hi, God, It's Me: e-prayers for teenage girls, two prayerbooks for teens in an e-mail format. I also wrote another grammar book (which appears on this website) for older students (middle school and up and adults who need English help. The book is Grammar Workout. My fiction book for children ages 6-12, Blue Cheese Breath and Stinky Feet: How to Deal with Bullies, gives children practical tips on dealing with a common school and societal problem. I hope you enjoy my books.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I love to hear from readers and their parents. Right now I'm writing a book about a pre-teen boy who's being bullied in middle school.
