This is a good take along Bible
Because the notes are limited, this Bible is smaller and more portable than a full study Bible. Because it is large print, it is still very readable.

Well Done
After using the NET like millions of others online, I figured it was time to purchase an actual Bible. It is everything I expected it to be. It's a bit thick, almost 2 inches, but how else are you going to include almost 61K notes?
The leather is a tad stiff but that is almost nit picking. It will lay flat due to the Smythe sewn binding.
Concerning the translation itself, I use it more then any other. However, like all modern translations, I was disappointed that it left out an important part of Acts 9:5.
..."it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." Considering this is Jesus talking I can't help but wonder why they would omit that. Still, that's the only error I have found which, again, is not exclusive to the NET.

I accidently ordered the wrong size bible, but I have to say that I love the size because I can fit in my purse, without it taking a lot of space. I especially love the references in the back of the bible. The leather is nice and the engraving came out beautiful. This version is just as clear and understanding as The Message Bible. I highly recommend.
