I used these books with all of my children when they were younger. I just purchased a set for the 2 and 3 year old Sunday school class at our church. They are wonderful! The stories and illustrations are simple, yet they teach big truths about the Lord. I highly recommend them. March 12, 2008

My 4 year old beginning reader loves these books! They have just the right balance of repetition and challenge so that she feels like she accomplished something and read from the Bible. It doesn't get any better than having your child beg to read to you from the Bible! February 27, 2008

I'm looking at this set today for a shower present. These books were the absolute BEST when our kids were small. The stories are told appropriately for young children, but best of all, there aren't too many words on each page. Like good story books for young children, these books had just the right picture/word ratio. April 8, 2005

All Bible story books for children are not alike. This one is exceptionally good! I discovered it teaching Sunday school for 2 & 3 year olds. The children sat still through the ENTIRE volume and love the bright pictures. Then I tried it on my 1-year old, and SHE sat still and begged for more. There is just the right amount of text and detail in the story to require frequent page turns, and the beautiful watercolor pictures are simple, but not too cutesy. January 2, 2002
