Great family fun This was purchased as a birthday present for my wife who enjoys the history/ reality of the Old Testament. She was thrilled to have this tactile connection with God's people of the past. Our children have had a great time learning to blow the shofar, some for the imaginary call to battle, some for the call to worship and some to wake up their sisters! March 20, 2013

Great sound, great look This shofar blew me out of the water, when I opened it up. I know, each shofar is different from the next. But, WOW! It is gorgious. And the sound is great, as well. I look forward to using it on holidays and at church. I purchased a smaller shofar from you guys, a year ago. And I love it as well. Advice to new purchasers; Clean it like they say, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. You will not know how to blow it properly, right out of the box. Unless you already have one. And, I can tell you first hand. A ram's horn shofar is more difficult to blow, than a Yemenite shofar. They have video's on proper care, cleaning, and practicing. Also online resources.
