Brenda Solomon was at the end of her rope. Her daughter, Jill, was suffering from grand mal seizures brought on by severe mental retardation; her pastor husband was doing his best to keep the situation private; and Brenda was falling apart physically and emotionally. But when their congregation got involved, things began to change. The Solomons describe coming to terms with their little girl's disabilities, how surrendering their situation to God improved their parenting, and what others can do to reach out to parents with disabled children.
