Author BioBarbara Curtis, a convert to Catholicism, is the author of nine books and has had over 1,800 articles published in numerous publications, including Guideposts, Focus on the Family, The Washington Post, and The Christian Science Monitor. Her stories have been included in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. She has won numerous writing awards, including the Christian Journalism Award from the Evangelical Publishers Association in 2005 and 2006. She and her husband have twelve children, including three adopted sons with Down syndrome, and thirteen grandchildren. The Curtis family makes their home in Loudoun County, Virginia.
