The very helpful commentary in the best-selling Life Application Study Bible (LASB) represents a fraction of what is available in the Life Application Bible Commentary of the New Testament (LABCNT). It is non-technical but still offers solid, conservative scholarship. The general tone of the commentary, as well as its numerous application sections, makes the LABCNT immenently practical. It should certainly not be the only NT commentary a person owns, but I own a number of good commentaries (Expositor's, Baker's NT, Lenski, Bible Knowledge, etc.) and I have found the LABCNT to be an indispensible addition to them.
