Such an encouraging book. Every day I read it when I read it, even on a bad day for me spiritually, I felt lifted up and encouraged. This book is full of stories and it has helped change my view on relationships. November 24, 2008

I highly recommend this book to any Christian woman, single or married, who wants to know what God says about relationships. Caveat Lector: Elisabeth Elliot holds to a biblical view of manhood and womanhood, and some may be offended by that. I, however, found it to be a breath of fresh air. August 7, 2008

This is an excellent book for every single woman who is out their looking for the bone of their bone according to the word of god. this is not a book for the weak who cannot decide whether they want to please god or man. it is biblical, principled and gives excellent advice on how not to fall into the pothole of lies of men. if you a true Christian seeking your husband or wife, you will enjoy and learn from this book.
