What a wonderful, encouraging book to pass on to Military personnel! As the daughter of a career Military officer who served in Vietnam, I have given many as gifts and they have been so grateful to have them. Although we may not understand all that may be involved in negative situations until we get to heaven, I feel that this book has insightful pointers discussing this awesome Psalm of God's divine protection. There is no telling of the number of people who have been helped by it.

I received this as a gift and was very excited about it. I am a Christian and a combat vet with PTSD. I recited this passage from memory all the time before, during, and after combat and believe it. Peggy claims that if you memorize and recite Psalm 91 out loud and believe it with all your heart then you will not be killed, harmed, or experience fear. Well, that is simply not true. If it was true then King David should have never suffered or the Apostles such as the Apostle Paul. Many men and women in uniform experienced fear, were wounded, or died in combat; including chaplains, and it was not because they had weak or zero faith, or failed to do what Peggy states they should have done. What happened to them was simply because it was the Will of God. I firmly believe that Peggy means well but she is taking verses out of context. Peggy is part of the Word of Faith movement and what Peggy claims is part of the Word of Faith beliefs. I do not follow that doctrine or belief. I do not recommend this book at all.
