EXCELLENT!I thoroughly enjoyed this book (both the projects and the child training wisdom) and have even purchased some of the items she listed in her book (i.e. books, mod podge, fabric paints, makit kits, etc.) and know that my children will be enthralled with many of the activities. While technology has advanced, there is no comparison to the one on one time doing the projects manually alongside the children. My thanks to Mrs. Boyer for taking the time to write this book. It is incredible that with 14 children she was so industrious and creative. As a homeschool mother of 6 (5 that are 5 and under) I can't imagine conjuring up all those activities, let alone doing all those wonderful projects with 14. She is truly to be commended for her diligence, love and dedication. Her book truly conveys her love for the Lord and her children. She has definitely reaped the labor of love she has sown and "by her fruits they will know them."

While full of easy-to-implement activities and ideas, this book does show its age. Since its revision in 1996, there have been numerous technological advances that are left untouched (i.e. ink-jet iron-on transfers, computer-formatted printouts, and the Internet). While these updates would be beneficial, there are still VERY GOOD IDEAS presented for use with children from birth through grade school. Just don't look too closely or the grammatical and typographical errors might distract you.
